FRCCF signed the EFSC Joint Declaration on Migration of Unaccompanied Children
On the occasion of the 20 th Anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, FRCCF and EFSC (European Federation of Street Children) would like to focus the attention of the public in Europe on the growing issue of the migration of unaccompanied children in the European Union which is one of the main causes for the existence of street children in Europe.
For this purpose FRCCF signed a Joint Declaration adopted at the 2009 European Forum on Street Children on the topic of "Migration of unaccompanied children: The increasing challenge to a Social EU. The origin countries in Central and Eastern Europe after the first years of EU membership" held on October 24th-25th 2009 in Budapest.
