FRCCF Football Cup

Third Edition

Romanian Foundation for Children, Community and Family (FRCCF) organised the third edition of the FRCCF Football Cup for the children of Cîmpia Turzii.

The competition was held on Saturday, 6 October , at the Sports House from Cîmpia Turzii. Teams and supporters from 3 schools and from the FRCCF Community Centre were present at the event. The team of “Pavel Dan” High School won the Cup and the community centre team finished third. The second place was won by the children of “Mihai Viteazu” School while those from “Iuliu Deac” School finished last.

All the participants received soccer balls as prizes, and the winners – cups and medals. Starting with this edition, the winning team got a huge cup as well, which is the symbol of the competition. Moreover, the best goalkeeper received a real pair of goalkeeper gloves , and the best championship player got professional pads and protectors.

This competition was made possible through the support of the Town Hall of Cîmpia Turzii , of the Military Unit staff, of the Turda referee brigade and of some very generous individuals. The Cup ran smoothly thanks to the FRCCF volunteers involved in the organization of the event .
